I’m Made in Great Britain, this 100% waterproof unique 2-layer lightweight endurance coat is made from robust outer breathable dry wax with an inner liner of quiet waterproof membrane (20,000 mm).  The Cumberland jacket is a perfect balance of classic British craftsmanship, innovative materials and timeless style. 

This finish is a combination of dry wax and soft aero tumbling. This emulsified wax finish is lightweight, breathable and weather repellent. It offers a soft aged appearance, keeping all the character of natural cotton.  This fabric is washable, line dried. This emulsified wax finish is lightweight, breathable and weather repellent.

Care Instructions:

We recommend that you wash your product using a non-bio detergent on a gentle 86°F cycle with a spin of no more than 600rpm. Washing your clothing on a high wash can result in color fading and damage to the waterproof membrane in waterproof products. As for drying we recommend you leave your clothing to drip dry.

How often your Hound & Hare kit needs reproofing depends on the amount and type of usage it receives. To ensure long service it is essential that you check the garment regularly. If after wearing the kit in light and short showers you notice water is no longer beading off of the kit in certain areas you may want to use a Water Repellent spray to reproof those areas. When inspecting your kit pay particular attention to critical places such as the shoulders, seams and areas most subjected to friction e.g. creases in sleeves, elbows and knees.  From time to time the whole garment will need reproofing. Use only approved Water Repellent Spray as some other may be less effective or in fact harm the material.

 Something like a Nikwax TX Direct Spray On or Nikwax TX Direct Wash In will help reproof.  Or something like this of similar quality will help maintain the waterproof garment.
