The Briar Jumper Wax Ware Chaps are cut from Scottish dry wax cloth, a material trusted for over a century by sportsmen who know the value of gear that lasts.
We pair 400-weight Hybrid dry wax on the front for briar-busting protection with lighter 200-weight ripstop Hybrid aero dry wax on the back for freedom of movement—because good gear doesn’t just stand up to the field, it moves with you through it.
Crafted in the USA, honoring time-tested materials and old-world workmanship, these chaps mark our first mid-weight chap. Do not require re-waxing and will not transfer oil.
Attachment on belt by two straps and snaps. Snaps at bottom of leg allow you put on over boots in the field and the snaps are positioned to allow hemming if needed.
Currently available in two lengths. Length can be hemmed if needed.
Standard fits 29” - 31” inseam
Long fits 32” - 34” inseam
